The Greenbelt Pottery Group is an informal collective of potters and ceramic artists who are affiliated with the pottery studio at the Greenbelt Community Center. Members are ceramic artists who share a love of creating with clay. What they produce ranges from tiles to functional objects to whimsy.

The pottery studios are located on the second floor of the Greenbelt Community Center, rooms 304 (hand building and glazing room) and 305 (the wheel room). There is also a kiln room where the pottery is fired in 3 kilns. Pottery classes from beginner to advanced are offered through the Greenbelt Recreation Department. Since this is a community studio, potters benefit from the company, knowledge and creativity of each other.

GPG potters are Willie Caster, Judy Goldberg-Strassler, Madeleine Golde, Cathy Groen, Christina Guidorizzi, Judith Kornett, Stephanie Massey, Lola Skolnik, Karen Wilkening.
